This privacy policy applies ONLY
to things on SphynxCat's Real Vampires Support Page.
I have to say this because many of my links lead to other people's sites,
and I have no control over their content or privacy policies.
E-MAILING ME THROUGH THE FEEDBACK PAGE
I tend to save e-mails (but not always), especially
the complimentary ones, however nothing is sold or traded to any third
party. If you want me to delete your feedback after I've read/responded
to it, all you have to do is tell me in the body of the message and
I will be happy to do so.
If your feedback includes a question about something
I cannot answer, and cannot research, I may forward your e-mail to the
one or two people I think might have the answers that I don't. I'll
be honest, in the time I've had the site up (since 1999), I've done
that exactly once, and only because the person seemed to need the info
ASAP. My normal response is to point people sending me feedback directly
to the respective person or website I feel could help them.
I will answer your question to the best of my
ability, but I do not guarantee I'll be able to solve your particular
problem(s). For legal reasons, all answers are "for entertainment
purposes only."
I reserve the right to publish frequently asked
questions in one or more collected lists with no names (and likewise
no personally identifying information) attached. I further reserve the
right to choose whether the question is appropriate, deserving of an
answer, and the right to edit or modify it for editorial clarity and
grammatical correctness, if published.
If you email me seeking specific medical advice,
I am unable to provide same in any OFFICIAL capacity, as I am not trained
medical staff.
VIEWING THIS SITE
I, personally, collect NO personally identifying
information from anyone simply viewing this site, regardless of browser,
nor do I solicit information from anyone simply viewing this site. The
Hitbox, Bravenet, and Google counters collect information (see their
sections below) but I do not believe it is personally identifying, judging
by what I've seen on the site stats.
I encourage parents to take an active role in
protecting the privacy and security of their children, and to prevent
the inappropriate use of information about their children. I recognize
that censoring software is in common use, however I, as always, consider
it a poor substitute for what should be appropriate parental supervision
of internet use and involvement in their child's life.
(In other words, "Net Nanny" type censoring
software is not an excuse to be a lazy parent. :P )
SPAM
I do not send out unsolicited commercial e-mails,
or "spam".
I have a site
news LiveJournal as well as a twitter
that you can use to keep up with my site, or you can visit the onsite
changes page.
